AT&T Uverse .. Tier 1 Tech Support is useless

I got home from work on Friday to find my Uverse service slowly dying. I did the basic troubleshooting .. reset everything on the network, computers, routers, modems, tv boxes; all of it.

When that failed, I called. I then repeated this process THREE DIFFERENT TIMES because they kept disconnecting me and refused to listen when I called back. On the fourth call I finally got them to agree to sending out a tech after I threatened to cancel my services entirely.

Not sure what the problem was but it had to be on their end as it auto-resolved itself around ten am today.

I used to recommend Uverse to everyone. Now I'm not sure if I'll continue to do that.
