Today is a historical day that I can only hope my children will someday understand.

Some of the pundits have gotten right. Obama has been elected by a generation raised to accept and expect diversity. A generation who ignores race, religion, and sex.

Only time will tell if he can live up to the expectation that is now placed upon his shoulders.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
